19.Ushibori in Hitachi Province
The ukiyo-e printing depicts the Lake Kasumigaura in the early morning. As the cold colors underlie, this artwork is the scene of the winter and express the freezing weather. A man is pouring away the water that has been used to wash rice to the lake from the boat with the roof. The boat is placed in the diagonal of the screen. And the two white egrets are flying away.
