This area was lined with cotton wholesalers like nagaya (row houses). This nagaya style is characteristic of Ōdenma-chō. It is the composition from the outside of the door, and emphasized the depth by extremely using perspective projection. Two geisha are walking in the same kimono and are accompanied by a girl. It looks like they are on the way to work, and that means the time of the artwork is in the evening. The composition in which a beautiful woman faces the front and is placed in front is rare in this series. The fence on the roof surrounds a fire bucket, and the white wall on the house is a firewall.
